Nantahala Brewing Company Celebrates 5 Years

NBC Judaculla releaseCome on down to Nantahala Brewing Company this weekend to help celebrate the 5-year anniversary of our award-winning hometown brewery!

For the past 5 years, Nantahala Brewing Company has contributed to our community in so many ways! There is always great live music, exciting events and fundraisers to benefit the community and 2 huge screens so you won’t miss a moment of the big game. It is without a doubt one of the most welcome additions to Bryson City night life!

Nantahala Brewing Company has a tremendous selection of small-batch craft beers inspired by the unique area we live in. You will see this reflected not just in names such as Trail Magic, Noon Day IPA and 4 Foot Drop Pale Ale and Patton’s Run Porter, you will taste it in the beer itself.

As part of the celebration, a new brew, named Judaculla will be released! The first keg will be tapped at 6pm on Friday and 22oz bottles will be released on Saturday at noon. Judaculla is brewed with local sourgum and wildflower honey, and aged in Jack Daniels Barrels. Sounds SO delicious! Live music by Circus Mutt begins at 8p.m. on Friday with what they describe as “rockgrass” – a blend of bluegrass, rock, jazz and reggae – sure to be a lot of fun! The Paper Crowns take the stage at 8p.m. on Saturday providing a fascinating blend of music, instruments, lyrics and a whole lot of heart and soul. This weekend, the place to be is Nantahala Brewing Company, without a doubt!

Nantahala Brewing Company is located at 61 Depot Street in downtown Bryson City, right across from the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. They do not serve food, but you are welcome to bring in takeout from any of our local restaurants. Anthony’s Italian Restaurant and Nate and Nick’s are both less than a 5-minute walk from the brewery. See you there!
