Celebrate the beginning of summer in the Southern Appalachians with music, dance, food and mountain arts and crafts at the Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center!
From 11a.m. until 5p.m. on Saturday, May 16th there will be a music festival featuring local musicians, dancers, the Heritage Alive Mountain Youth Talent Contest and a jam session with Larry Barnett.
In addition to the festival, the Artisans Gallery offers an opportunity to purchase original artwork as well as a wide variety of traditional and contemporary works including paintings, pottery, weaving, wood and glass works, photography, jewelry, soaps, quilts, books and many other fine crafts that make this region famous.
If you get hungry while you are out, the Schoolhouse Café will be open all day offering snacks, drinks and sweet treats.
Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center is located at 121 Schoolhouse Road in Stecoah, just a short drive from your Watershed Cabin.
