It’s time to celebrate this amazing fall weather and the start of the color season in the Smoky Mountains! This Thursday, September 26th, Relia’s Garden Restaurant will host a wine dinner prepared by Chefs Jeremiah Smith and Ron Neill featuring modern southern fare paired with a variety of California wines. You can enjoy your meal outside on the deck overlooking the tiered garden that gives the restaurant its name or, if you prefer, seating is available indoors.
Start the evening off with and glass of sparkling wine as you mingle and enjoy passed hors d’vors including warm Goat Cheese Crostini drizzled with local honey, Crab Stuffed Hushpuppies with Creole Aioli and Tomato Sashimi with White Soy Sauce. Then, find your table and enjoy a series of wonderful dishes starting with a Basque style Vichysoisse and Poached Sea Bass and ending in a decadent Whiskey Ice Cream topped with Candied Bacon.
Relia’s Garden Restaurant is located at Nantahala Outdoor Center on US Highway 19 about 10 miles west of Bryson City. It is just a short drive from your Watershed Cabin. Dinner is served at 6:30p.m. To make reservations, call (828)488-7172.
