Since receiving his first Kodak Brownie camera for Christmas as a child, Drew Campbell has loved photography. He strives to find new ways to capture common subjects like the fall colors, sunset on the ocean or new fallen snow in the mountains. The results are simply stunning. Drew’s love of nature and the Smoky Mountains led him to live and work here in Bryson City where he exhibits his work in shows, teaches photography classes at John C. Campbell Folk School and leads private workshops. Click here to view an online gallery of Drew’s work.
This year, Drew will be leading several one-day photography workshops in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. These workshops provide participants with an opportunity to work on composition techniques while photographing some of the most beautiful places in the Smokies! Remaining dates for 2013 are July 13th and October 19th. The workshops cost just $75 for a full day of instruction with one of our area’s best-known photographers. Picnic lunch is included.
