The remote location and proximity to nature is part of the charm of your Watershed Cabin. Far away from bright lights, you can enjoy a view of the stars that just can’t be found near a city. You can disconnect from the hustle and bustle and settle into a more relaxed pace, enjoy the sound of the wind in the trees or just enjoy the absence of all the noise that fills everyday life. You may even spot a deer in the early morning or at dusk! These are some of the benefits of country living.
Keep in mind that most country roads do not have street lights. When it gets dark out, it gets really, really dark! If you are unfamiliar with the area and are not accustomed to driving on narrow, curvy roads, driving in the dark may be a bit stressful. In addition, it may be difficult to see signs and it is possible that your navigation system may not be completely accurate in the mountains. We want you to fully enjoy your Watershed experience – including your arrival! For these reasons, we recommend that you plan to arrive before sunset so it is easier to find your cabin and get your bearings before it gets dark. That way, you can settle in and enjoy your evening rather than feeling stressed as you drive along winding roads searching the darkness for your next turn!
Check in time is 4 p.m. which gives you plenty of time to get settled in or even make a trip to town for groceries if you need to. After it gets dark, it is time to have some dinner, fire up the hot tub and relax!
